The Pan-Asian Committee on Treatment and Research of Multiple Sclerosis (PACTRIMS) is the youngest amongst other similar committees around the world:

  • American Committee on Treatment and Research of Multiple Sclerosis (ACTRIMS)
  • European Committee on Treatment and Research of Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS)
  • Latin American Committee on Treatment and Research of Multiple Sclerosis (LACTRIMS)

PACTRIMS is a committee of neurologists interested in multiple sclerosis from the Asia Pacific region coming together for a conference and to cooperate on research.

Members originate from Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Indochina, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand - and the list grows.

PACTRIMS inaugural meeting was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 21-22 November 2008. Second meeting was met with good success in Hong Kong on 20-21 November 2009.
