To those of you who attended the inaugural Pan-Asian Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (PACTRIMS) Congress and last year’s meeting in Hong Kong, thank you for your continued support and interest. And to those of you new to PACTRIMS, we would be delighted to have you join our ranks.

This Third PACTRIMS Congress will take place from 26-28 August 2010 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Bali, Indonesia. Please block the date in your diary now, and register HERE.

Since establishing PACTRIMS in 2007, we have made great strides in pursuit of our mission to provide a regional network for the exchange of knowledge, ideas and experience between neurologists, scientists and other healthcare professionals interested in MS. We are delighted with the growing popularity of PACTRIMS Congress and the encouraging feedback from our members, and the Organizing Committee is working tirelessly to make this another memorable and inspiring event.

Mindful of the urgent need to translate basic research into improved diagnostic and treatment approaches for the many patients in our region suffering from this incurable and progressively disabling disease, PACTRIMS 2010 Congress will provide an ideal platform for sharing the latest international progress, disseminating best practice, and empowering doctors, scientists and healthcare professionals from the region with the knowledge and tools they need to improve clinical outcomes and quality of life for their patients. And what setting could be more conducive than Bali, which surely ranks among the most beautiful and stimulating destinations in the Indonesian archipelago?
